"The Physics of Tsunamis: Basic Understanding of the Indian Ocean Disaster" by Halif and Sabki was published in the American Journal of Applied Science in 2005 and is available online. 

"On the Trail of Destruction" by Quirin Schiermeier is a really good article published in Nature on January 27, 2005 that presents a clear, complete, but not too technical discussion of how tsunamis form.  You will have to get it from your school library.  It is available online with a subscription only. 

"Landslide Tsunami" by Steven Ward by the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics presents an alternative cause to some tsunamis other than earthquakes.  The article is a bit technical, but provides good information if the mathematical derivations are simply skipped.
