Learn what makes tsunamis grow

Introduction

You are a team of professionals who have been assembled to put together an educational video about tsunamis.  On your team is a government physicist from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Center for Tsunami Research, a university oceanic engineering professor whose research is to experimentally find out how tsunamis form, a historian who specializes in natural disasters, and a reporter who lives in Indonesia and has witnessed the destruction caused by tsunamis.

You are being funded by a government educational initiative and must create a video appropriate for secondary school students that addresses how tsunami warning systems work, how tsunamis are formed, the history of previous tsunami disasters, and the human impact of tsunamis.  In order to be prepared to start this project, however, you must first review waves since tsunamis are travelling waves and you have to know what you are talking about!

Unfortunately the grant you received requires all of the work for this project to be done in one week, so get moving!
